8:30 am Teachers start work
8:45 – 11:15 am First learning session
11:15 – 11.30 am Lunch eating time inside
11.30 – 12.00 pm Lunch play time
12:00 – 1:30 pm Second learning session
1:30 – 1:45 pm Recess eating time inside
1:45 – 2:15 pm Recess play time
2.15 – 3.15 pm Third learning session
4:16 pm Teachers off duty (7.6 hours)
Teachers Working Hours
If you are meeting with a teacher, please make an appointment in working hours.
The Teachers Award requires a 38-hour week. The Teachers Award recognises that teachers may take work home and allows for teachers to negotiate early departure after 7 hours completed onsite, (3:30pm).
Teachers working after hours (4:16pm) are doing so in the best interest of children and are completing unpaid work at this time.8:30 am Teachers start work
